HOW TO WORK WHEN THE MACHINE KNIFE IS LOOKED
During the cutting process, the friction between the workpiece and the front of the knife over time will cause the knife to wear out. Tool wear affects productivity, accuracy and quality of workpieces. So when the knife is worn out, the way to use it is to re-sharpen the knife.
Turning knives are usually sharpened with a two-stone grinder. One side of the corundum machine is used to sharpen the wind steel knife. The other side is fitted with blue silicon carbide stone used for sharpening knives made from hard alloys.
When sharpening, the knife must be fixed on the pedestal. When sharpening the knife, ta lightly presses the stone and simultaneously moves along the knife along the face of the stone. We perform knife sharpening according to the following process: main back side ==> secondary back side ==> front side. Note that slight chamfering or rounding is recommended at the intersection of the main blade and the auxiliary blade. After rough grinding, we proceed to polish the front and back of the knife to help keep the blade straight and increase its life.
HOW TO CHOOSE TO BUY TOOLS FOR MECHANICAL WORKING
First of all, you have to buy processing tools from big brands in the international and Vietnamese markets. Especially those with headquarters or authorized agents in Vietnam. This is important because you will be given the most complete instruction on how to use it. In addition, you also get the most timely support when the machine has problems when.
When buying, remember to check the compatibility of the tool kit with the CNC machine in terms of specifications such as spindle rotation speed, tool change time, rapid displacement speed, maximum cutting speed…
Ask people in the industry to let them share with you more of the knowledge they know. This will be of great help in choosing the correct kit.
